Since 2017, the BIH Digital Health Accelerator Program has been supporting employees from research and clinical departments at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, including the Berlin Institute of Health, in turning their innovative approaches into market and application-ready digital health solutions.
Since the year 2010, 42 new startups have created with the support of the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH). In 2020 alone, 8 new startups were founded.

The Humboldt Startup Service enables the successful realization of the start-up idea in the phases Prepare, Launch and Grow with the support of Humboldt- Universität zu Berlin. Participation in the program significantly and sustainably increases the chances of successfully founding a company.
Over 130 companies have already been founded with the support of Humboldt- Innovation. Our startup portfolio reflects the broad research landscape of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the innovation potential of the German capital city.

Profund Innovation at Freie Universität Berlin is the service facility for the promotion of start-ups and innovations in the Department of Research at Freie Universität.
Profund Innovation has supported more than 180 start-up projects. Freie Universität has been awarded the Berlin Brandenburg Business Plan Competition as a Berlin Think Tank ("Ideenschmiede") eight times.

The CfE at Technical University Berlin provides a systematic milestone-based start-up incubation process which supports up to 30 start-up teams annually. TU Berlin researchers, alumni, and students with innovative and technology-oriented business ideas can apply to the incubator.
